Note: The Mini does not have a connector for the external antenna. If you wish to use an external antenna please purchase the Mini Pro.

• External antenna connector
• Built-in ceramic antenna
• New CP2104 USB-TO-UART IC
• Same size as D1 mini

Note: By default the board has the internal antenna wired to the ESP chip. If you want to use the external antenna you will need to rotate the 0R resistor to the pad next to the external antenna connector.

Wemos D1 Mini Pro 16MB MEA (Modified for External Antenna)

• Identical to the “Wemos D1 Mini Pro 16MB” listed above, except that the 0R resistor has been moved to attach the external antenna connector to the ESP chip.

Note: Because the board has been modified to enable the external antenna, the built-in antenna is not connected. This board can only be used with an external antenna connected unless the 0R resistor is rotated to attach the onboard antenna to the ESP chip.
